About

Welcome to Learned in the Lore!

I’m Olivia, a Christian, homeschooled high-schooler, writer, bookworm, pianist, ISFJ, ¬†Hufflepuff, Middle-Earth lover, Shakespeare enthusiast, and scholar of the King Arthur legendarium. I’m a bit of a history nerd and am very much a music nerd. This is my little corner of the world (or internet) where I write about whatever I’m thinking about.

My interests include *insert all of the things mentioned above*, English monarchs, movie soundtracks, cooking, epic poems, MBTI types (cheating with this one, since I mentioned my type, but whatever), Napoleon Bonaparte, Les Miserables, and lots of other random things.

Now since I’m a really boring person, you probably don’t want to hang around here any longer. If you want to know anything more about me, consider checking out the rest of my blog!

grace

Then, with my waking thoughts bright with thy praise,
Out of my stony griefs Bethel I’ll raise;
So by my woes to be
Nearer, my God, to thee;
Nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!

Or if, on joyful wing cleaving the sky,
Sun, moon, and stars forgot, upward I fly,
Still all my song shall be,
Nearer, my God, to thee;
Nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
